Rotary International Announces Peace Fellowships

Rotary will select up to 100 individuals to participate in a fully funded academic fellowship at a Rotary Peace Center. Rotary, an international organization which seeks to “connect leaders, link diverse perspectives and build lasting relationships to take action in our communities at home and around the globe,” will cover the tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses for two types of fellowships: a master’s degree or a professional development certificate.

The Master’s degree option offers a degree in any field related to peace and conflict transformation. Each program lasts between 15 and 24 months, with an internship of two to three months during each academic break. In contrast, the Professional Development Certificates are geared towards professionals in peace-related fields who seek to develop their skills in peace and conflict prevention and resolution. Up to 50 fellowships of each kind will be awarded.

Applications for the 2017-2018 Rotary Peace Fellowships program will be accepted until May 31. Be sure to read about the Fellowships, the application process, and more about Rotary!
