Student Environmental Activities at Seattle University

Happy Earth Day!  Check out the news below to learn about the creative ways Seattle University and its Center for Environmental Justice and Sustainability are engaging students – through residential communities and friendly competition!

The Earth and Society Learning Community – One of the university’s newest learning communities is called “Earth and Society.” Its members explore the intersections between their career paths and issues facing Earth, recognizing their role in guiding society toward a more sustainable future. EcoChallenge 2015 – Weekly Prizes! – The Center for Environmental Justice and Sustainability is hosting the second annual EcoChallenge! Students organize themselves into teams of three, then try out challenging but attainable new habits over four weeks, have fun, and learn about their personal obligation to commit to sustainability practices. Participating makes students eligible to win weekly prize drawings. The activity started on April 7; learn more about EcoChallenge here.
