University of St. Thomas begins contracts with fair trade coffee vendors

After long deliberations, University of St. Thomas has begun contracts with two fair trade coffee vendors, switching from a non-fair trade vendor. The new vendors are also local businesses.

This two-vendor situation is an innovative approach implemented to ensure that both providers together will be able to meet the large demand for coffee on campus. Students for Justice and Peace are very happy that their efforts advocating for more just options have finally paid off.
