You may have heard the Ignatian Family Teach-In, which took place last November, commemorated the 25th anniversary of the murder of six Jesuit priests and two laywomen on November 16, 1989 during the El Salvador civil war. As part of the Teach-In, Rev. Ismael Moreno Coto, SJ, spoke at the event; known as “Padre Melo”, he is a human rights activist and director of a radio station in his native Honduras. With the help of a student translator, he addressed the students present at the Teach-In. Hear and read about his remarks on Pax Christi’s blog.
