Fair Trade is a movement and a label that is only awarded to products that were created following strict guidelines ensuring that the people involved in the making of the product were justly compensated, and that they worked in an environmentally sustainable manner. You can promote Fair Trade practices ob your campus in a lot of different ways:
- Celebrate Fair Trade month by checking out BeFair.org to learn the basics of the label.
- Visit the Fair Trade website to learn more details about the movement.
- Start a Fair Trade Campaign at your institution so students will have a tangible outlet to promote justice.
- Have fun with fair trade by hosting a CRS Fair Trade Community Order for friends and/or students.
