Catholic Mobilizing Network: ‘A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words’

Are you looking for a new resource to help educate your community on the Catholic teaching on the death penalty?  In partnership with artist John August Swanson, the Catholic Mobilizing Network to End the Use of the Death Penalty is offering colorful, eye-catching posters to help you end the use of the death penalty in your state. Available in four designs, and in both English and Spanish, the posters depict the execution of Christ – making the connection that Jesus himself suffered state-sanctioned execution. The posters also remind us of Jesus’ forgiveness and messaging of non-violence.  More information and sample posters are available on CMN’s website.
